Okay, so I messed up when setting up this "Blog" ...
I went to this "Blog Website" and It asked me to create
a title for "my blog"...and I said, well, okay, i was going to
talk about love and farts and shit so, I'll keep it vague
and cliched so"2 loves" it is...
Anywho, yeah, apparently
I am a moron who still doesn't entirely do well @ internet.
durrrrr O.o
Moving On!:
Valentine's day is approaching and with that being
put out there...do you really care?
Did you ever care?
Let me ask you (the reader) which Valentine's Day
in your personal history
stands out in YOUR mind? .....drawing a blank??...
or, is some random high school memory from over 10 years
ago still playing over and over in your head??? *tear :o(*
Okay, so maybe I'm transitioning...
Maybe your Valentine's days were just like any other
day in February; not giving a shit about these wonderfully
marketed holidays full of an overdose of pink and red
& the occasional diabetic coma.
But you have to admit that there is something about the spring
that makes teenagers extra horny. (j/k Teenagers are usually always horny....or angry. o.O)
But I was just thinking about my past Valentine's Day extravaganzas...
okay, if there were some way to show a time travel thru text...this would be it: ~*$~~*$*~~$***~~~~~~(the money is for luck y'see!?)
Okay, I'm getting a vision of me being in 3rd grade...
I am happy.. and, almost always hanging out with my present-day homosexual friend Lindsey
(whom, might I add, NEVER stays in touch!).
I remember being especially close to this off-beat kid named CJ.
(SIDENOTE: I recently befriended his way cool artsy mom on facebook. )
It was mostly innocent and in all sweet fun. His mother would make jewelry...
and he would give it to me...we would hold hands...and get nervous about holding hands....
*giggle giggle....VOMMIT*
...okay, so this is a waste of time...
I can't make out too many details...you know, it is really HARD to remember
details about puppy love, but, never can you forget the details of your 1st love.
Yes...the blog is dwindling down.
My definition of "My first Love" :
"My First Love" according to NPBG (in past tense): Someone who is usually a year older. Played the trumpet. Class clown. Attendee of Youth Ministry. First person to touch private parts/ say I love you.
I will NOT divulge his name however I am sure that anyone who reads this (and knows me) already knows WHO I am describing.
It was soooo long ago (10 years to be exact) and do I sound like a weirdo by saying that it is oh so clear?
He was a beautiful boy/ man.
Affectionate, emotional, manly, artistic, outdoorsy; like a suburban cowboy in 'hand me downs' from a super cool older brother.
...He even had a pretty bogus scar.
Of course, it ended as most adolescent relationships do (confusing and heartbreaking.)
You see, he ended it with me.
This is fine.
--------
ONE MOON LATER, in 2001,
I met some dark-haired loner named Michael...
OH BUT, don't spell his name the correct way...he changed it to MIKOL!
(Oh my, I can't believe it has stuck).
To be quite honest, I thought Mikol was far more weird when I met him.
I would pass by him in the theater and he would say things like: "Better get out there, the show's about to start" ...and there would be nothing going on. O.o
He was an odd guy who followed an odd crowd.
Today, I sometimes think about Mikol as I met him compared to the
Mikol I blessedly cohabitate with.
There are so many layers to this wonderful man I am married to, I am so
lucky to have grown alongside him these years.
The best part is, we work great together as a team because
know a lot of each others ways and shit sticks.
I know not to hound with questions if he gets too quiet...however,
not to let him be quiet and stand offish for two days @ the max.
Okay this blog is officially off track, BUT, IT'S MY 1st BLOG...so there.
So with real life troubles and everyday responsibilities, is the passion
of Valentine's day still there?
Of course it is! But you have to look for it... if not make it yourself.
So how do you do this??!
Well, first question is:
What is your budget?
Chances are, if you are looking for something like a
quick getaway or flowers/ Godiva chocolates...
this all costs money.
Really, ladies...if your guy doesn't give two shits about V-day and you do, chances are, he's NOT going to make it special for you...so, if you feel like it (seriously, if you feel like it...most girls i know wouldn't do what I'm about to say) do this:
Shave your legs and privates
Put on lotion
Buy Beer
Prepare a Hot Meal
&Wallah!
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
...any more effort than that is beyond creepy (believe me...I know).
